Yesterday, I shared my Christmas tree with you all, and today I am keeping the theme going by sharing my favourite Christmas decorations on the main tree and a white one that also resides in our living room! The ones I am about to show you all mean something special to me, and they’re the kind of decorations I love hearing about, the real gems with the old stories behind them.
Take a look!
As a kid, I was arts and craft obsessed and one of the first decorations I ever made was this gift like box decoration made from an old Rice Krispies box, gift wrapping and a scooby string (I know, what a throwback) for the purple ribbon . It goes on the family tree every year without fail and I think it’s pretty good for a first try!
The glitter glue and sparkles days continued as I personalised my own Scooby-Doo stocking!
The arts continued way into my teens and this DIY angel was a welcome distraction from Christmas exams studies! Put together about 7 years, she is still going strong and proudly takes the top spot on the white Christmas tree in our living room!
Technically, this decoration is handmade too but it was also crafted by my late brother during his school days. It proudly takes places on the front of our family tree just under the angel on top like it always did. Isn’t it just gorgeous? ❤️
In tribute to my brother, this decoration is placed on the white tree that was bought a few years after his passing so that he is still part of everything we do.
So, there you have it! My favourite Christmas tree decorations. What decorations have to make it on your tree year after year? Let me know in the comments below 🙂
