Blogmas Day 15 – Winter Beauty Essentials

Between cold weather playing havoc with my skin, and changing up some key makeup products for the Autumn/Winter season, I like to be well stocked up for the months ahead! So, I’m going to talk you through some of the bits I can’t be without in the Winter months.

Skin & Lip Care

Lip balm is an absolute essential for me during Winter, as I am sure it is for you too! The winds and cold weather that Winter brings causes serious dry lips and none of us want the soreness or look of cracked lips. The lip products I use to help keep my lips shiny and smooth are…

  • Carmex
  • Vaseline
  • Any Tinted Lipbalm for an extra bit of colour!

Just like lip care, skincare for keeping my dry skin at bay is just as, if not more of, an essential for me! The ones I use to get me through are…

  • Simple Rich Moisturiser for my face
  • A tube of Aqueous Cream to keep my body super soft

Beauty & Makeup

Classic red and sparkles are the way to go for Winter beauty picks! These are the ones I love to wear…

  • Rimmel Red Nail Polish
  • Essence Melted Chrome Eye shadow
  • Essence Velvet Matte Lipstick in ‘Hungry Pink’
  • Red lipgloss/lip cream

That’s it for my beauty favourites for Winter! The spotlight is on Skincare tomorrow so check back then 🙂

  1. I use the same Simple face moisturizer, too! Winter is my favorite time of the year but it’s not my skins favorite – my skin is actually very angry lately haha. But I loved this post, it’s so fun to see what other people use!
