Oh October. Where the leaves are the most beautiful shade of red and the brisk Autumnal air comes to light.
October has always been a fun one for me as it’s my birthday month, and this year I turned 21. I won’t harp on about it too much as I already have a blog post dedicated to it here. However it’s bound to feature on my Instagram alongside the usual snaps, the ones in which I shared some new fashion accessories, beauty favourites and recent literature loves!
Here’s a snapshot of what I got up to this month.
I felt like treating myself to a new bag for my birthday so I did, and upon having a snoop on River Island this cute crossbody bag caught my attention and I snapped it up. Now it’s all mine!
Another River Island purchase, believe it or not! My amazing gold glitter boots got their first outing this month. LOVE.
Speaking of my birthday… (did I mention that yet?!) My makeup on the night was courtesy of my big sister, Donna whom is a relatively new makeup artist. Check her out on Instagram as The Flawless Bride. Go on!!!
The “I just turned 21, quick, grab the balloons for a pic” picture. Ah memories.
An absolute LIFE SAVER in a tub. I rave about this solid brush cleanser all the time. It’s from Lottie London and does wonders for all my makeup filled brushes and beauty blender, as you can see! I wrote a review on this same product a while back and you can have a look here.
…and last but not least, the books I picked up this month were ‘Fully Functioning Human (Almost)’ by Melanie Murphy and John Green’s latest YA novel, ‘Turtles All The Way Down’. I’m just about finished one of these already and quite excited to pick up the other. I’m pretty happy with October’s book buys!
So, that was October ’17 through my eyes. Did you enjoy your October? What are you are/were you excited for in November? Let me know in the comments below. š
